BLUE MOON

Hello and Welcome!

Blue Moon Astronomer blog showcases pertinent astronomical information for the benefit of all and considering the importance of astronomy as a subject, there isn't a single person in the world that is not affected by it. Hence, it is beneficial practically, conversationally, theoretically, visually and theologically and provides answers to hugh questions like where do we come from? Are we alone? How old is the world? When will the world end. Why is the universe so astronomically huge? Astronomical space photographs are cool, amazing, beautiful, thought provoking and insurmountable because it will always remain largely unexplored because of its size, distances, darkness and astronomically pervasiveness.  Blue Moon Astronomer blog will also teach important concepts about astronomy and concepts related to astronomy however I do not promise  a structured schedule for updates but will try  to update it as often  as possible. So don't be as stranger and come visit frequently!

As we all know, the saying "once in a blue moon" eludes to something that doesn't occur very often. This saying actually refers to the occasion when two full moons to occur in the same calendar month. Since this doesn't happen very often, it gives the saying a tremendous sense reality and clarity.
